This was a quick study done from a photo; I spent most of my day preparing receipts and forms for taxes. Even though I didn't feel well today I had to post something on this 15th day - HALF WAY THERE!

You did a quick painting today and I spent hours creating a painting that almost went into the trash but spraying it with the sprayer in the sink actually removed the background I didn't want and I could repaint and finish my painting.
Melissa, I love pastels, you should try them. I began using them when my kids were home and I had only short blocks of time and needed to be able to quickly leave the easel and not worry about brushes hardening etc. Let me know if yu have any questions about getting started.
This is so perfectly vibrant! I love the short strokes and wavy reflections - totally makes me want to try out pastels too! Beautiful
