Fog and Snow 5 x 7
Today the temperatures rose into the 40's and most of Wisconsin was blanketed in fog. It rained during the night last night and part of the morning but we still have snow on the ground, and the ski hill near our house was open today. In this painting I tried to capture the cold fog.

Your work is very beautiful and it makes me want to do some pastel painting during this 30 paintings challenge! Thank you for stopping by my website!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yevgenia, And do get out the pastels - they are such a wonderful medium. No brushes to clean!!
DeleteI think you captured it rather nicely. Now I'm going to go put on a jacket.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave, So, you paint daily even when no one is 'challenging' you?! Wow I am impressed. I'm enjoying this, but I don't know that I could do this EVERY day.
DeleteIf you like fog and snow, please come on over. That is all we have today. Go out? Stay in and drink coffee in a nice warm studio? That's a tough one! NIce job, Susan. You nailed it.
